Was there a pond on Bennets property in Booth creek? More specifically a pond with a beaver hut? I am sure that there was…my grandpa had a theory…and a good one…but no one would listen.

I had heard from a now-deceased friend that EB had property in Wycliffe, that Phillip could possibly be there. There was also a small house in the Slaterville area that had been his, his son lived there in 1982, it gave me the creeps.

I found a crawl space under a house that was built on our property in 1923. We found bones and old newspaper clippings from the 60s. We also found glass and a bunch of other stuff. The rcmp came and collected everything from our property

When were the bones found – and how were they identified? I lived in Kimberley then (worked for the RCMP) and the case was truly baffling. So many inconsistencies. Phillip was last seen at the foot of the stairs leading up the hill towards his house .. but there was no further sighting of him after that.

EB needed money and it seems Philip was an opportunity. Philip was seen walking close to EB’s home on his way home. Do u know by any chance whose house EB was keeping an eye on. If EB hadn’t died in a plane crash he would have been charged with murder eventually. The evidence was at the so called farm. The truth needs to be told.
