Unfortunately/Fortunately as a child my grandfather was injured in a streetcar accident that left him with a distinct limp. Given the era there was little opportunity for individuals with disabilities. He was not awarded the position as they did not think he would be able to fulfil the duties required. Some things happen for a reason. Looking forward to reading your book.
