I just don’t understand! How does FIFA have so much power!?

I have never lived in Lynn Valley, but our relatives did for about 45 years and when we were kids we’d always go to the Lynn Valley Days. It was a great time! In fact my cousin was crowded Queen one year back in the 70’s.

Sorry to hear it won’t be happening this year. Thanks FIFA!!

Our own doctors and other healthcare professionals are being used for this event. I hate to be a party pooper but just saying…I don’t watch soccer… World Cup means little to me and many others in Vancouver.

I’m sorry the FIFA has become such an empowered event to knock off all the exciting Community Events that so many children have taken part in over the years.
I had no idea that the insurance for such events depends on police presence. I suppose because of road closure and safety it has become necessary.
