Hi Eve,

Glad to come across your blog today.

I grew up in 2800 Colwood Drive! It was the early 60s.

My Dad loved designing, building, etc. Inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright he added different modern elements to the house, e.g., stained glass panel beside the front door, that made our house so special.

Our family has so many wonderful memories from this house :)

Hi Eve, great blog.
We had the good fortune to buy a Hollingsworth Neoteric when our kids were infants so your quote form Mr. Hollingsworth rang true for us.

How interesting about the Thornton/Hollingsworth connection. Have you read his book Living Spaces – it’s been a while so I don’t remember if it had autobiographical information that would help you but it may, and it’s in the library. Do you live in Vancouver?
