May I add another HUGE abandoned project. If you drive up Lillooet Road in North Vancouver past Boal Memorial gardens and chapel you come to the largest construction site Ive ever seen in the lower mainland. Just in the past 15 (give or take) years I delivered load after load to the tunnel being built to link up our reservoirs.I drove a loaded semi truck into the tunnel and it looked like a dinky toy. I think that it was abandoned because of stability issues but it was a waste of money on an epic scale.
