Long before great shoes were tailor made for them, long before diets were created for athletes, and before big money was held in front of them. The struggle of a black man conquering a sport like this must have been daunting. Jesse Owens at the Berlin Games in 1936, would also have liked to see him run, as well. Love this story, these were true heros and should never be forgotten.
