Ive been following your series on this trail and its very interesting. I havent been on the trail as outlined in the blogs but Ive visited many of the locations. I delivered rebar to the grain elevator construction site in the 70s. Many load of pulp to Lynn Term and Northgate Terminals. Dined at 7 Seas.
In much younger days my friend and I would ride our Mustang bikes from our homes on Barclay St in West End through Stanley Park over the Lions Gate bridge thru N Van and back over the Second Narrows. These rides were always an adventure . Your next leg from Ambleside to Dundarave my wife and myself and the dog have walked many times. The scenery is spectacular. Our dog is to small to use the segregated dog trail but we dont get to many complaints for her being on the wrong side of the fence.

I love the Spirit Trail between Park Royal and Norgate - it's my favourite part despite that terrible Larco bridge. There's a deal in the works to fix it, partly with West Van taxpayer money and partly with Larco money. We'll see if it works.
