The murals in the dome depict the team that refurbished the Orpheum along with their wives and some of their children (and a couple of mythological beings thrown in). Thanks for appreciating a true Vancouver treasure!

We were seated up in the balcony due to finances, but turned out to be a blessing as we were closer to the beautiful painted murals on the ceiling. It was great to see them admire and marvel at the beauty of the venue and we talked about some of the people that had performed there…and others who had sat in our same seats as 90 years of performances preceeded us.

Very thankful that there are those in our community working hard to preserve and cherish “the old beauties” of Vancouver. Loved this story.
