Police tried to pin the murder on her, but she was acquitted by a jury. I tried to track her after that, but no luck.

This man epitomises all the attributes all Freemason’s or anyone of us for that matter should aspire to. When you consider the poor opinion that some people have of the order Freemasonry. He hired Canada’s first non-white police officer, a Japanese-Canadian man named Raiichi Shirokawa, managed to secure 2 days off each month for his officers (who had previously worked 7 days a week), and lobbied the provincial and federal governments to treat drug addiction as a medical issue rather than a criminal one. Government and police attitudes towards drug crime changed with his death, and it has only been in recent years that agencies around the world have started to reconsider the ideas that McLennan espoused almost a century ago.
