None of these reports surprise me at all. It was an absolutely beautiful home, but had an underlying eerie feeling to it. Even as a very small child and unaware of the concept of ghosts or spirits I felt uneasy in the home. Later, the kids who lived in the home would later talk about the ‘ghosts’ and we would usually incorporate this theme into our play. There was a lot of fun playing in the house, however I never liked being alone at anyone time in the house. I certainly felt some very cold energy while alone in the house at times in certain places. The footsteps in the ground floor hallway is something I do remember and doors opening and closing as well. The staircase leading up to the upstairs as well. People still live in this beautiful home with there family and is a testament to coexistence with the ‘paranormal.’ However, there is no empirical evidence that these things do exist. I can only rely on my experience that is all. As kids, it certainly made for good fun play on cold rainy days and when I think back on my childhood this old house was a part of some good memories.
