Science writer Jay Ingram (The Science of Pets) and Women’s Prize finalist Chloe Dalton (Raising Hare) both delve into the meaningful bonds between humans and animals. Eve Lazarus explores a forgotten tragedy in Beneath Dark Waters, an account of the 1914 sinking of the Empress of Ireland; Nilo Tabrizy spotlights Iran’s recent women-led uprising in For the Sun After Long Nights. And Bread and Milk traces author Karolina Ramqvist’s life and relationships through the lens of food. Come hungry for insight. Hosted by Kathryn Gretsinger.
